London Tray

Swedish graphic designer Maria Holmer Dahlgren fuses her interest in travelling with her passion for graphic design in her collections such as 'London' and 'Britannia', which are designed as a response to tacky souvenirs and cheap, throwaway design.

This stylish tray is from her London Collection and highlights some of the wonderful sights in this great city. Places shown include: Speakers' Corner, Tower Bridge, the Gherkin, St Paul's, Battersea Power Station, the Tower of London, Eros, Shakespeare's Globe and the Dome. Plus, of course, a black cab and double decker bus.

Maria Dahlgren trays are handcrafted at a family-run factory situated on an island off the coast of Sweden. Layers of birchwood veneer are hand-pressed, trimmed to the shape of the tray and then lacquered to provide a hard-wearing finish. Dishwasher proof. Measures 33 x 21.5cm.
